Guiding Interns to the Gate City – Campus Greensboro Day Booklet
The “Guiding Interns to the Gate City” booklet is a collective message from the voices of our 2021 Fellows cohort on the importance of interns in Greensboro, NC and the impact they have on our local community. This booklet encompasses quotes from the 66 students and 13 colleges/universities represented in our 2021 cohort, including our seven local colleges/universities: Bennett College, Elon University, Greensboro College, Guilford College, GTCC, NC A&T, and UNC Greensboro.
2021 Fellows were asked to reflect on the following themes when providing their quotes: building relationships, enhancing professional experiences, thriving as a young professional, engaging in local community, connecting to others, envisioning a life in Greensboro, preparing for the future, finding mentors, and becoming a young leader in the community. We are honored to share the stories and collective voice of our 2021 Fellows cohort with the Greensboro community in celebration of Campus Greensboro Day, and National Intern Day, on July 29, 2021.
Campus Greensboro would also like to celebrate our 2021 summer intern, Taylor Jones-Curtis who envisioned, created, and executed the design of the “Guiding Interns to the Gate City” booklet. We appreciate your creativity and continued commitment to this project!
