The Magnolia House Foundation’s mission revolves around preserving and sharing the history of the Historic Magnolia House–Greensboro’s Green Book hotel. While the physical preservation of the building is key, the nonprofit seeks to build an on-site history museum, reuniting communities with often untaught histories, while also operationally recreating the activities of the historic hotel. Through these activities the nonprofit seeks to create hospitality and tourism related jobs and internships.
