The Kellin Foundation’s mission is to build resilient children, families, and adults through behavioral health services, victim advocacy, and community outreach.
While Kellin provides service to people of all ages, it has been recognized as only one of only two designated National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) sites in North Carolina (the other is at Duke University).
Internship Description
The intern will be responsible for helping to plan, promote and execute the Kellin Foundation’s annual fundraising event, “Journey to Brave.” This includes:
(1) Working with Development Team to plan an online or in-person event (TBD)
(2) Developing communication to support promotion of the event, including press releases, articles, newsletters, and more.
(3) Working with the development team to execute an in-person or online auction. This includes soliciting donors, gathering auction items, promoting the auction sales, and following up with donors and auction winners.
(4) Identifying and soliciting sponsors for the event.
