Fellows Program

Campus Greensboro Fellows Program

At Campus Greensboro, run by Action Greensboro, we are dedicated to fostering and retaining emerging talent right here in Guilford County. Our mission is to provide an enriching summer experience for students working in paid internship roles with Guilford County organizations each summer. Our comprehensive professional development program includes a two-day custom leadership training, mentorship from community professionals, and networking and development events and adds great value for both students and employers.

Program Eligibility

We are proud to offer the Fellows program at no cost to employers of eligible interns. Supported by the generous contributions of community partners, this opportunity is available to interns in the following categories:

  1. Local College Students: Attendees of local institutions including University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Guilford College, Greensboro College, Guilford Technical Community College, Bennett College, Elon University and School of Law, North Carolina A&T State University.

 2. Guilford County High School Graduates: Those who graduated from Guilford County high schools and are now furthering their education outside of Greensboro.

 3. First Generation College Students: Students who are the first in their families to attend any college or university.

Inclusive Opportunities for All

For those interns working in Guilford County not falling under the above categories, organizations have the chance to sponsor interns for a comprehensive experience with a contribution of $1,000 per intern. This investment covers the full spectrum of program costs and signifies a commitment to developing future leaders.

Collaborate for Success

We invite you to join us in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Share your open intern roles and let us amplify your recruitment efforts. We are actively engaging with campuses, post your opportunities on our Campus Greensboro job board and we’ll ensure resumes from potential candidates land directly with you.
