Please meet today’s Featured Fellow, Muhammed Mus’ab Akbay!
Mus’ab Akbay is a rising senior at UNCG studying computer science. This summer, while interning at Cone Health, Muhammed looks forward to getting involved with promoting computer science and coding for young folks! Originally from Apex, NC, Mus’ab describes Greensboro as welcoming and growing.
Read about Mus’ab’s experience as an intern at Cone Health: My internship with Cone Health has given me insight into what it is like to work in the healthcare sector. Unlike other sectors, our drive and focus revolves around nothing but the care and health of our patients. Although I intern under Human Resources (HR), it is my responsibility to help facilitate an atmosphere that is welcoming and caring for our patients. Here at Cone Health, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous projects ranging from Talent Management and Diversity and Inclusion to more technical projects such as Project Management calculations and HR analytics. My experience with these projects has allowed my previous professional vision to become more realistic and practical. The growth that I have experienced within these six+ weeks has been exponential and unique. The Fellows Program, along with Cone Health, has provided an opportunity that will stick with me for a lifetime!
