Se’Ron Leary is joining TEKsystems as an HR intern this summer. Growing up in Greenville, NC, Se’Ron chose to attend NC A&T and is pursuing a marketing degree. Looking forward, Se’Ron has an interest in corporate sales and advertising. His favorite thing about Greensboro is the fact that almost anything you can fathom to do can be found somewhere within the city!
Se’Ron shares about his first week at TEKsystems: My first day in the office was last Wednesday, and I feel like I’ve been working here for a year due to everyone keeping me so in the loop! The team is awesome and my dire
ct supervisor, Daniel Bettis, has made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped foot in the door! Since my internship is 10-weeks, I’m on an accelerated training process because they really want me to experience doing the job and not just reading the training manual. Everyone here is really adamant about learning hands on as opposed to just shadowing and listening to people talk about the job. I’ve been recruiting IT professionals via phone and internet and going to lunch meetings with co-workers and their consultants to learn more about the industry, as well as what sets TEKsystems apart from the competition. I truly feel like I couldn’t have been placed with a better company or team to experience my first internship!
