2020 Nonprofit Internship Stipend Application

  • Funding Process - Please Read Carefully.

Campus Greensboro and Action Greensboro staff will review applications and select nonprofits to receive matched funding of $1,250 to assist in the payment of an intern for employment in summer 2020. This intern will also participate in the 2020 Campus Greensboro Fellows Program from May-August 2020. The matched funds will be paid directly to the nonprofit, who will then distribute the funds to the intern throughout the 10-week summer internship. With the matched funds process, nonprofits must provide $1,250 to the intern, for a total of $2,500 paid to the intern over 10 weeks. Funding is limited. Nonprofits will be selected by program staff based on the quality of the internship opportunity and the needs of Fellows Program(ex. to diversify opportunities). The ability to provide nonprofit matching stipends in 2020 has been made possible with generous support from the Lincoln Financial Foundation.
  • The Nonprofit Internship Process / Fellows Program Participation

If your nonprofit is selected to receive matched funding of $1,250, your organization will be a partner of the 2020 Campus Greensboro Fellows Program. Thus, your nonprofit internship will be posted for over 50,000 local college students to view/apply. You will be responsible for selecting applicants to interview, conducting the interviews, and hiring the Fellow.
  • Diversifying Opportunities

As we scale the Fellows Program in 2020, we are looking to include more opportunities in these focus areas: education, arts, social work, psychology, and public health.
