Jasmine
Forte will graduate from NC A&T in December 2016 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Originally from Middletown, Delaware, Jasmine will join RLF Communications as an intern this summer. In the future, Jasmine has an interest in pursuing law school to then become an entertainment attorney. Due to Jasmine’s interests, we paired her with a local lawyer in the Fellows Mentorship Program!

I have been working here for a little over three weeks and I’ve loved every minute of it! It is such a great feeling working at a company were I’m treated as a member of the team and not just an intern – I truly feel valued. The team always keeps me in the loop, and I experience something new every day. For example, on my second day, I took pictures at a ribbon cutting ceremony for a client! It was so cool and definitely a memorable experience! Every Thursday, I pitch stories to local media outlets asking them to cover an event for one of their clients. I never thought that I would spend my summer gaining hands on experience directly in the public relations field. It’s extremely rewarding and fulfilling to be able to take what I have learned in my classes and apply it directly to my internship!
