Maryclaire’s experience:
I have had the tremendous opportunity to work as a Marketing Intern with Biscuitville this summer. I have helped reconcile an extensive nutrition portfolio that will have long-lasting effects for the brand’s transparency and guest relationships. I collaborated with the marketing and creative teams on social media strategy for the brand, along with conducting field research for future direction of social media presence. Working in a collaborative and approachable work environment has helped shape the vision for my ideal workplace.
The Fellows Program has afforded me a life-changing opportunity through a mentorship with a community leader, professional development sessions, and activities that remind me why Greensboro is such a vibrant and thriving place to live. I have approached every experience as a chance to learn and grow. I look forward to adding value as a young professional, both to an organization and the city of Greensboro, when I graduate from Guilford College in December 2017.
