We are excited to introduce today’s Featured Fellow: Natehya Allen!
Natehya Allen is a rising senior at UNCG studying business administration (HR concentration)
with a minor in communication studies. This summer, Natehya will intern at Replacements, Ltd. and gain experience in a variety of functional areas, including HR. Natehya loves her experience at UNCG and feels that Greensboro is very student friendly with all of the food and night-life options. In addition, Natehya finds there is a wide variety of churches and service organizations around Greensboro to become involved with.
Natehya shares about her first few weeks at Replacements, Ltd.: Life at Replacements is great! I must say, I’ve never worked at a company where the CFO greets you by name. Replacements, Ltd. takes great pride in their work but also realizes their employees are their greatest asset. I’ve grown accustomed to the company culture and I feel right at home. I have the pleasure of working in the Human Resources Department of Replacements, Ltd., and my team is very insightful and hands-on, making sure I am applying skills from the classroom to the workforce. Soon, I will see my first project come to life! I am helping to bring back an employee-based initiative called Food Truck Thursdays, where I communicate and coordinate with different vendors around Greensboro in order to bring them to our campus so employees can enjoy some tasty treats. This is one of the many projects I’m working on here at Replacements, and I can’t wait to grow with the company throughout the remainder of the summer!
